GT STARTS WITH A 5.º PLACE IN PIPE CONTEST 2010

On 26 of February happened the TURBO PRO PIPELINE, the first 2010 IBA World Tour event .

The prediction of waves on the previous day was the best possible: we were waiting for waves on the 10 feet range but really was not what happened.

I went to the beach early with the big surf expectation with all the adrenaline rushing, but the real PIPE waves did not reach 6 gums.

Still not pulling off the glow of the competition, there were really insane battle heats with some bodyboarding show happening out there..

For me, the competition finish on the semi finals ( fifth place) and unfortunately I was watching the waves that begun to rise into the final, that was simply epic..

A fifth place to start a Grand Slam is not bad but of course, but of course i expected more..

I have to congratulate the organization for having secured the last day of the event for the best prediction, what exactly was the last day of the window ,thanks!

After that day the waves went bad for weeks, .

My congratulations to Amaury for his victory, and also to the other finalists King, Diego e Jared.

I´m excited for the next stage. .
